I feel as though I need to post. I'm so glad I have a week and a day left of semester (plus finals, but I feel the need to leave those out). I've somehow managed to not be swamped by homework. That was 2 weeks ago. Now it's just keeping up and then studying, which isn't such a small task.
New form of weirdness out of high school. I've been going to church in town. It'd been over 3 mos since I went in Mahomet, but we had Thanksgiving on Sunday I didn't have time to drive into Vineyard. Thus, I went to LCM (and somehow managed to get stuck reading the lessons), then I agreed to play flute for the choir in a couple weeks and went to practice for that tonite. One more place that it feels like I was there recently and when I think about it, it seems like a long time ago. Oh the joys of graduation. That's without a doubt a good change for me. I love the Vineyard and really missed not going on Sunday. Sorry Amanda, I didn't get your messages until way too late (like 10:00 and Monday morning)
I'm still trying to come to terms with, basically, my new life. I've decided I like the U of I and campus and church and leaving HS and LCM, etc. So much of the time I'm on auto-pilot and seem totally adjusted and then ther are times when I realize that I'm really not. Not just from going back to HS era, but when I look at what I'm living and what I want to live, I see a difference, especially as far as social activeness. God's been showing me some ways to work on that. I just have to actually act on them. I've become very independent this semester. Too much so. Hmm... Life really is an endless chain of battles. Yet somehow I enjoy it so much...most of the time anyway.
Okay, I'm telling you that I'm going to go do homework. This probably isn't true, but what can I say!
